"Men of quality do not fear equality"
"RESPECT MY MOM."
"Women's rights are HUMAN rights."
I've gotta say, seeing so many men attend the march had me in tears. I grew up in a small, extremely conservative town and I wish these messages were instilled in me as a child.
Many fathers brought their young daughters. THIS is how young women should be raised. I look forward to the future.
I'm so thankful I have the opportunity to live in the kind, accepting and diverse community that is NYC. Humans of all ages, sexualities, skin colors- came out to participate in a PEACEFUL protest. Beautiful.
Register to vote NOW. It's your duty. You should want to have a say in your future!
We must remember that presidential elections aren't the only elections. We often forget about our local politicians. These people are important, too! Educate yourself on the leaders in your district.
There are so many things you can do. Vote, sign petitions, call or write letters to your local representatives about issues important to you! Stay updated with the political news to be informed on upcoming votes for possible legislation.
